Re: reifen ins verkauf
Thomas

Hi Rob,
Thanks for the information about the tyres.
Do you still have the inner light for sale shown in one of your photos. I wanted the one at the back right of the photo to match the existing one in my fire engine. Also, do you think it possible to fit 7.00 r16 to the front wheels? I only ask because I have found two new 700 radials over here in England. This would mean I'd need two spare wheels though! There seems space at the front wheel arch. Thanks, Jamie

hallo jamie
i really don't know if 7.00 R16 radials will fit......important is the space between the tyres at the back.....and the space between the tyre and the bumper/chassis at the front!!! ofcoure you can cut the bumper! 6.50 is slightly bigger than 6.00.....well if a 6.00 and 6.50 stands next to each other there is a significant difference!!! but mounted on your car the difference is less while the air is more compressed in a 6.50 while a 6.50 has more space for air so also more space to compress...the compression is made by the weight of the vehicle (well this my explanation).....conclusion i really don't know if 7.00 R16 radials will fit. it will also depends on the brand.....6.50 r16 michelin xca or xca plus will fit for sure....but other brands 6.50 don't fit while there is not enough space between the tyres at the back!
you should try! in my opinion it is also good to have 7 tyres of the same size
and beware that on our mercedes 319 you have to mount an innertube/tyre, also with when you mount tubeless tyres! because our wheels have no hump! see also this topic

Re: reifen ins verkauf
Thanks Rob, I had no idea things were so complicated re: tubes and no tubes. I also have a front wheel drive Mercedes 306d truck and someone in America running an F35 posted the following message on the hanomagmercedes forum:
"As a driver of the largest, heaviest F-35 ever made (the furniture van),
I can heartily endorse installing inner tubes. I actually had a
tubeless separate from the rim and rapidly deflate in a sharp turn."
I'll send you a photo of the type of innerlight I need,
Thanks, Jamie
