Some more progress after shotblasting which took forever.

I made new bevelled and rolled pieces for the rear corner panels.

Moved on then to the rear stepped panel for the rear doors. Many hours but the progress is more visual.

Heh Brad, thank you. I started the damn thing so now I have to finish it ..

I'm happy to blame the Portuguese for using the rear panel in that manner...Bit of head scratching when I looked at it deciding whether I could repair it...

Really nice quality restoration. I wish I knew how to do metal work. I had to subcontract all that work out at an average of $75/hr.

Expensive in the US. It just wouldn't be feasible on a van of this condition unless money was no object.
$75 Will keep me in materials for a few days. Electric argon and sheet metal. I've used about 8 sheets of 2.5 x 1.2m steel to date. £40/sheet @1.00mm steel or galvanised. Zintec more expensive.
