Hello from sunny southern California,
My name is Paul.
This is a brief introduction, and hopefully the starting point of my participation and contribution to the 319 forum.
I have owned this 1966 319 Dormobile Camper Van since 2005. It needs a complete restoration. The 319 has been off the road for many years(20 years or more?). I bought the 319 when it was offered on Ebay USA in 2005.
This is a very rare optioned vehicle. Supposedly 1 (of 6?) built as a camper using Dormobile of England roof components. It has the gasoline M121 941 engine.
I finally started the mechanical work last year after many years of storage from the previous owner, and my ownership. I am doing the mechanical work first, and then will do the body and interior later. I am re-assembling the engine, and hope to have it back on the road SOON. The expertise and parts availability are limited in the US. I hope to gather, and contribute my knowledge and experience to fellow 319 enthusiast.
I will have more pictures and updates of the project in the next few weeks.
Thank you
Paul

Hi Paul,
Welcome to the Forum.
What a cool and rare project.
If we can help with any Information let us know.
Usually, the body is the biggest problem when restoring a 319, but yours doesn't look that bad. Body spares are absolutely rare or not available. Same for the rubber ( especially for sliding and hinged windows). The 319 Club did some Repros of the lower front wings. And there are spares for the step behind the front doors available. And that's it.
Good luck with your restoration. Please post more pics, we are always interested in more details.
