Bonjour Jim,
bienvenue en Forum de MB319.
Malheureusment mon francais est plus mauvais que votre allemand.
So its easier for me too, to switch to english.
Thats a nice looking L319 you have bought. My favourite, with sliding doors.
Looks like it has some work for you, but not too bad from first glimpse.
Good luck for bringing home the 319.
And yes, we are always interested in more pictures.
Christian

congratulation for this beautiful car, Jim! It looks unspoilt and like 'being on the road' for 57 years. And apparently it runs easily by itself! Would be nice to keep it in this patina state. Maybe it's in its first colour, do you know about this?
Looks like it has the original OM636 motor inside, finest motor of all times! (as far as I think).
Bon voyage
Frank

Hi Jim,
what a great looking 319.
It would be cool, if as much as possible of the original paint could be kept. Just doing the rust repair and blend in the paint. But its your car and up to you, its only the idea of how I would like it.
Can you get a second one like this, I would be interested. :D

he really run good ! no problem except the brake, the car go to the left when i brake hard, i'll see his before going to the technical control.

the blue is the original color of course ! and i'm telling myself that i will keep it in this condition. just some rustol on rust parts to stop the ill.

the motor is an 1L8 diesel.

bonjour jim,
i wouldn't sell the estafette. the 319 and the estafette get along pretty well as i can tell from my personal experience.
