For my new project O319

Hallo 319-fans,

Can you tell me what the original color is of the enginecompartiment ?

Is it black or is it in the same color as is the exterior color ?

Hi Frankbrus,
in my 319 the engine compartment is neither black nor in exterior color.
It is in light grey, the same color as the inside is. The one in the Mercedes Museum also is completely grey from underneath. At my 319 all the body parts except the outside is painted in grey.
But unfortunately I can't tell you the color code of this grey. I already called the MB Classic Truck Center an they asked the Mercedes archive, but they couldn't help me.
I used a color called Seidengrau (silkgrey) RAL 7044 what is very similar to the originally used grey.
