So, the engine preheats well and turns well with the starter:
and it starts but it turns like a potato. I had to use a verry little bit from start pilot to launch it . I did not dare to let it run longer because no cooling system. he turn like the last time before the screw ran away and knocked out my rocker rod!

I had to insist many timesbut now that works without start pilot!
and after having purged the system of diesel, it turns very well ! it smokes a bit but I put that on the back of the moisture and the first real start, the time that everything cleans. we will see later if it continues
next step, mount and fill the cooling system !

a little mechanics on this Sunday!
I start by changing my nipple brake jar, until then ... not too complicated!
Yesterday, I went to put a paint on the radiator, I did checked it and it is in perfect condiction except a few fins a little twisted! cool
receiving new cooling hoses!
everybody is in place !
radiator in place !
I put all in water and disaster! leak on the water pump! I empty, I disassemble the water pump and of course, the round seal has dry and it died .... so i have to change the water pump because the circulation fin has broken during disassembly!
so ! another 100 € ticket that will fly for the water pump ...
great updates - panzerjim really love the colour of yours!

after communication problem with a seller on eBay on the model of my waterpump, i get the good one !
waterpump in place !
I put all the water, no leak, it turns round, but even after 10 minutes, engine operating temperature, it smokes gray so the injection pump is shifted! little bit, but shifted!
after 20 minutes of intoxication of the garage , the engine limps a little and stops running! big shot of freak, not just the diesel pump that debits no more + air intake at the level of the manual priming pump .... decidedly ... I dismount the injection pump and the diesel pump to take the measurements and see the model. good news, it is standard:
it is ordered, there is only to wait! In the meantime, I will again work on the injection pump setting ...
to be continued !

hi everybody !
so it's good, the bleed screw was extracted with a mechanic. everything is reassembled, purged and it always smokes gray ... ... will have to play with the fine adjustment of the injection pump
then I settled a problem of clutch: impossible to disengage .... after consulting with a colleague, the clutch disc was relined too thick, so i fall (again ... ) the gearbox
I go with my little disk to the company that I have replenished it, and there surprise, the guy tell me that it will not be less thick .... well, oh well! I go home and I will use the last solution, play with the adjustment bolts on the mechanism
For the joke, once all reassembled, I had forgotten a clip of the thrust clutch ... and fall again
then I finished reassembling the handbrake system, fix the exhaust pipe permanently, refit the passenger side step + a lil bit of sheet on the amount. (forget about photo .......)
and there I say to myself, it starts despite it smokes gray, it brakes, it engages, the steering wheel turns, the weather isn't too ugly .... it's too tempting: Come on ! let's go for a ride !
after 10m ride, return to the shed, it feels good to re-ride with!
tomorrow i continue the body work !
