Letztens gab es mehrere Modelle von 319er-Spezialumbauten für die EXPO in Brüssel bei EBAY zu ersteigern.
Hat jemand nähere Informationen zum Original und den Modellen?

these mercedes 319's are still stting in a park somewhere in Belgium.
They where used to carry people tru a park in Limburg. About 10 years ago this park bought a new train.
I saw them and they are to far gone to restore.
If somebody is interested in restoring this than let me now...

Hallo,
I'm happy that some of you are still interested in these busses from expo 1958.
They are located at Bokrijk (Genk) about 35 kilometers from Aachen...
So not far from the German border.
If you go to the following website you can see more pictures from how they are today.
In this park they try to show old houses and the way of live of about 100 years ago.
I'm sure you can buy them for a sheap price.

Dear friends,
I have news about the 319 busses used at expo 1958 at Brussels.
Today I had contact with the person who made the website about the expo 1958.
He was exited about my interest for the 319 trains.
He nows where they still could be. THey are bought from Bokrijk by a strang person who is in bussines with "recycling cars"...
He didn't recycle them when the person from the website visited him to have a look from the busses . At that time he took a few pictures and that are the pictures you can see on his website.
The new owner offered them to the person from the website but he didn't wanted these hard-to-restore chassis...
This all was a few years ago...
But I have the tel. number of the new owner. If they still exist...
If they still exist than you now it tommorow and maybe we can see them...
If they are recycled than I don't speak about it anymore..

Enclosed a few pictures.
They are transformed but maybe I can get the original drawings from them. First the metal roof is changed in a canvas top. Second the front of the mercedes 319 has another face just like a train. The frames from the wagons are usable.
But they are restorable... with a lot of time and money...
If somebody want to restore them just let me now... As most of the parts are possible to get..
Can we save these history-mobiles ?
If I can be of any help let me now.
