Hello from Sweden!
A few weeks ago found out that a friend's dad had a bus that just stood and collected dust in a dry garage!
I took the liberty of calling him to see if it was for sale.
Unfortunately, it had been vandalized
All the windows were broken and they had sprayed a powder extinguisher in it.
But I got it for free if I took it from there myself.
Have anyone seen the Slidedoor on those busses before?
The mainthing now is to fix new windows, Anyone know anyone with a bunch of windows?

Hi Wickebe,
welcome to the Forum. And what a cool find. Those doors look special. And its a RHD too. Pretty rare thing.
Great you got that bus. I hope you have the patience to bring it back on the road or restore it, if needed.
These side doors are no factory option. Looks more like o coachbuild thing.
You'll find a pic of a similiar looking bus here: http://www.baumaschinenbilder.de/forum/thread.php?postid=870783
If you need spares, contact Reinhard: http://www.kainzmaier.de/index.php/de/, he should have lots of parts you will need.
Please be careful with the window rubbers, they are more expensive to replace than the glasses and quite rare (especially those of the sliding windows).
Do you have some more pictures of the whole bus and the interior?
Best regards from Stuttgart,
Christian

"they had sprayed a powder extinguisher in it"
That could be a serious problem.
This powder is usually very very aggressive and results into a lot of rust.
Also if not completely removed it will distributed every time when using the ventilation.

We vacuumed it as best we could. It might have been a while since they sprayed it tho
Yesterday we actually got the bus home. It started on the 3rd attempt everything seemed to work as it should, noticed no fault with the electricity or so either.
The engine sounded good too. 20 years since the last time
Hopfully the powder wont be that big of a problem! do you have any advice of removing it? Leaf blower?
