High Roof vs Low Roof Factory differences

Hi

Can you tell me the differences in construction between the high roof and low roof L319. The Roof covering difference is obvious but the supporting ribs, Transverse and Longitudinal, are these the same with an intermediate section welded in or are they in fact completely new sections. If anyone has some photos of the inside "high" roof, it would help to answer the question.

Gday Rob,
I searched the interwebs to maybe find a internal high roof picture but I had no luck apart from the standard factory roof.
You would think back in the day, they would of kept it simple and just extended the rib curve?
Unless someone provides a picture of their own high roof then it may remain a mystery.

I did subsequently find a photo of a high roof thanks ...Yes it appears to be one piece structure (not an infill piece) but I still cant really be sure.. However its the profile I'm interested in as its clearly not just a case of extending the height of an existing roof, the geometry will all be wrong..

Looks like without the hi top roof skin, the profile of the low top will be too large and just wrong without sectioning.

The work is a credit to you...

I bought my 319 some years ago, november 2009. It had a high roof. I do not know who put this roof on it. When I did the restauration I found a very bad construction. So I changed it with self made profiiles. The roof is all metal so quite strong!
