Some photos of the area I've started work on. I don't know how long this will take as the day goes too fast. Happy with progress.

Seems to be a common theme for corrosion...right through to the dash panel/ glove box...4 layers of rust .

Hello,
the wrong orientation is a softwareproblem, it takes a look at the exif-data and there seems to be data that gives wrong information.
I have rotated the pictures but I think one is getting lost.
btw. nice work, keep us up to date.

Google search tells me it's a common problem. When taking landscape photos on android phone...to keep capture button on right (volume buttons at bottom of screen) . . Cheers for the help.

This is my attempt to recreate the top frame that supports the door pillar and the roofline. It took a couple of attempts but I feel this will work.
Its two pieces welded together as Im using very primitive techniques, (in this case, two pieces of angle iron, some clamps and hammers/welder) I do concede to using a swaging machine to create the step.
Ive not to replicate the Gutter fold as its will be less complex and more flexible if I make the closing lip separately as necessary..

Hi everybody across the world...can you tell me is this lead work from the factory. Above door post and bulkhead frame. ? Looks to be simply to hide panel laps / spot welds. Thanks in advance

Hi Rob,
as far as I know there was used lots of lead in the production of 319s. So its quite likely that the position you mentioned also is leaded from factory.
Btw: great work you are doing on your panel. Looking forward for more pics.

Hi Rob,
If you are interested in seeing some 319s, you have to go to the Dorset steam fair. You will find 4 319s there and maybe can talk to the owners.
