Hello !
Sorry I've been busy until now, so I couldn't write about my visit
So far so good, I bought it even if it's far from beeing perfect.
Now I must find a company to transport it from Dijon to Paris (>300km) because it cannot go on its wheels.
First the major problems that I have to solve :
- the brake fluid gets out from the front right brake, so the brakes don't work, but the hand brake works fine
- the front and rear lights work, but turning lights don't work
So I have to make those repairs before presenting this 319 at "Contrôle technique" (=TÜV)
The engine turns perfectly well but with a lot of smoke : probably the segmentation...
There is more rust than the photos showed : the front wings have been badly repaired, but the rest of the body looks fine.
So, if this 319 gets the TUV, I'll try to make it look better, otherwise it could be a good giver for another one.

Also, wenn diese 319 erhält den TÜV, werde ich versuchen, es besser aussehen, sonst könnte es sein, eine gute Geber für ein anderes.

There are 3 seats, but in the official documents only 2 seats are specified : are those seats correct ones ?
Es gibt drei Sitze, trank in den offiziellen Dokumenten nur 2 Sitze festgelegt werden: Diese Sitze sind richtigen?

Last week my L319D passed successfully the "contrôle technique" (french TÜV).
It passed the TÜV with difficulties due to it's brand new breaks...
So today I could register it officially as mine !
Here it is with it's 7 brand new wheels I bought at Reinhard KAINZMAIER's

Today, for the very first time, I drove my L319D :
But before getting home, I've had a break-down : the brand new battery got low, so I decide to send the L319D back to the garage for a checkup of the problem.

Here we are !
Today my L319D PristchenWagen arrived at home !

During the trip, the right rear brake blocked progressively.
When I finally could stop, there was a lot of smoke...
Then I just engaged the rear gear and went forward a few meters : it was enough to unblock the brake.

Today, I went to a meeting I organised for the Mercedes-Benz Club of France : I'm in charge of the Youngtimers section of the club.
I'ts not because I'm in charge of the Youngtimers that I'm obliged to go with one of my "Youngsters", so I went with my "brand new" L319D :

My L319D has had a great success today !

Yesterday I was talking with Wolfram, then I decided to look a few things on my L319D.
When it was presented to the "Contrôle technique" (french TÜV), they didn't find the serial number on the frame. So I cleaned the fromt right "bar" and I discovered the serial number qich was hidden by mud...

It is the correct number
: I had doubts. 
Why did I have doubts ? Because of the engine that seems not to be one build for the L319D, but for the w110 200d : the OM621 VIII (621.918).
