Question of the end of the day ! i removed segments of one of the pistons, is it normal le thin part (inside bottom left)? have you ever seen this before ??? it was between the segment and the piston.

Re: [restoration] L319D - 1958
hi everybody !
work of the last 2 weeks
first lapping valves, unconventional but effective method !

Grouper will soon regain her smile

then it's been a big part of degreasing, cleaning to painting the front cabin and rear. not easy and interesting but have to do. So here yesterday the first layer is placed (this is the original color code or approaching), will remain a second layer on the dashboard et the front roof. i havn't done the floor for the moment
to give an idea it took me two hours to paint it and luckily I was well protected (I insist on that because the health and safety above all) because the atmosphere was unbreathable. otherwise I have left =piece of my beard because ui was not enought cover

I hope that the paint will not screw up because of the temperature by night but I'm confident, i'll go to see the result this afternoon or tomorrowt. it's not perfect but it's home made !

hi everybody !
not many thing to show because it's only body work.
Today I've sprayed primer phosphating on naked surface and surface with mastic to see the last body defects. final painting will wait for warmer weather of spring.
result : many work on body again !

i've sprayed anti-gravel in the "wheel wall"

to be continued ....

Thank you for these "not too many things to show".
I've learned something with the anti-gravel.
It's seems to be a good idea.
